The Economic Development Coalition’s Existing Business and Industry Services Program was developed to promote the continued growth and prosperity of Buncombe County Employers.  Recognizing that the retention and expansion of existing local business and industry is at the heart of successful economic development and job growth, the EDC maintains a robust and proactive Business Retention and Expansion Program.

Through an aggressive schedule of industry visitations, and consultation with a broad array of community partners in economic and workforce development, government, education and industry, the EDC stands ready to assist Buncombe County Employers in meeting the challenges and opportunities in today’s global marketplace.
