12/30/2009 Job seekers flock to fair at the Biltmore Square Mall The 4th Annual Homecoming Job Fair was held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Biltmore Square Mall in Asheville. 70 local companies participated in the job fair, representing 2,100 jobs to be filled in the first quarter of 2010. Bev Perdue today announced that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (USDVA) has conditionally approved the state's application for federal assistance to build a 100-bed State Veterans Home in Black Mountain.
