2009 Legislative Agenda

The Chamber’s Legislative Agenda is developed by the Governmental Affairs Task Force and communicates the Chamber’s positions on key business issues at the state, local and federal levels of government. The Chamber works closely with the Asheville City Council, Buncombe County Board of Commissioners, North Carolina General Assembly and congressional leaders in Washington, D.C. to promote public policy decisions that reflect the priorities of over 2,000 businesses in the community.
