Through educational seminars and training programs, the Small Business & Entrepreneurship department helps entrepreneurs succeed by giving them knowledge to avoid pitfalls and costly mistakes. Training sessions may be attended by Chamber members and non-members, but a preferred rate is offered to those with a current Chamber memebership.

A series of at least eight "Hot Tips" seminars occurs throughout the year with a variety of learning tracks including human resources, Internet, advertising and marketing, and accounting and finance.

Future scheduled Hot Tips seminars can be found on the Chamber calendar.

Leadership development training is a six section course which is offered twice per year in spring and fall by Human Resources Solutions, Inc.  Whether your business is large or small, skillful leadership is required for ongoing success.  The course content is thoughtfully updated each session and attracts many repeat participants.   The next course enrollment will be announced soon for Spring 2009.
